This morning I spent some time with Tonie and Lisa. As I mentioned in my previous post, Lisa has started her own cupcake enterprise, Sweet Addictions. Lisa was kind enough to donate a ba-jillion mini-cuppies to Harrah High School’s “Fall Festival”. Okay…. it was more like 144 cupcakes.. actually… I think we might have tasted a few. Quality control! Anyway, on the menu today was:
Pumpkin Spice Cake topped with a rich cream cheese frosting and cinnamon sprinkles:
Caramel Apple Spice Cake dipped in silky caramel and sprinkled with cinnamon-sugar-toasted-pecans:
(Some without pecans as well) See how shiny these little beauties are! It’s as though she slapped a layer of polyurethane right on top:
Smores Cupcakes: Decadent chocolate cake topped with fluffy marshmallow frosting, sprinkled with graham cracker crumbs, and crowned with a tiny Hershey’s Bar. It doesn’t get better than these childhood favorites with the grown-up twist:
It was a lot of fun watching her do magic with these treats. She obviously has an eye for perfection and the skills of an accomplished baker.
This was as close as she’d let me get to taking a picture of her. So let me introduce you to Lisa’s hand.
Line ’em up; ship ’em out!!!
Give her a shout! Even if you just want to chat. heh heh heh….
